SENSING ATMOSPHERES - A study on real-time sensorial qualities of urban space.

This study aims to investigate how personal traits and spaces alter the sensations of people and to define urban atmospheres in terms of real-time sensorial qualities in order to support decision making processes for planners, designers and inhabitants.

Sensing Atmospheres project has been conducted by our team member Seckin Basturk at Senseable city Lab. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) within the scope of his PhD research.
