Urban Design Concepts

Vanvitelli square (Naples, Italy) is reconstructed in VR along with four new proposals; road traffic limitation, pedestrian use, pedestrian use and fountain, pedestrian use open market. On the other hand for Gesù Nuovo square proposed scenarios are; road traffic limitation, pedestrian use, pedestrian use and seller stands, pedestrian use open market. In addition to these two squares Largo Banchi Nuovi square of Naples also redesigned in VR adding vegetation and a fountain.

This project has been conducted by our team member Seckin Basturk at RiAS laboratory (SUN - Italy) within the scope of PhD research activities.
